Birla in the year 1946 as a pioneer industry in the field

start of 30,000 bearings in 19 sizes. The company is now manufacturing
nearly 3.8 million bearings per month in over 500 different sizes

At NEI, the development of bearings is a never-ending

Spindle Inserts etc., the name of the company was changed in 1958
to "National Engineering Industries Limited.", while retaining its
original trade mark NBC.
Its collaborators include NTN of Japan and BRENCO Inc. of USA. Company's current turnover is over Rs 4350 million (approx. USD 97 Million).
NBC bearings are widely used by 2 and 3 Wheelers, Cars,
Trucks, Tractors, Electric Motors, Railway Wagon, Coach & Locomotive
manufacturers as Original Equipment, and Steel Mills, Heavy and Engineering
Plants, Bulldozers, Shovels, Tillers and Thermal Power Plants all
over the country.

Hindustan Motors Limited (HML) is India's
pioneering automobile manufacturing company of the C.K. Birla Group.
It was established by Mr. B.M. Birla in 1942.
HML over the years has equipped itself with state-of-the-art
